Located at the corner of Winnetka Ave. and Chase St., Our Redeemer Lutheran Church is a body of Christians in the western San Fernando Valley united together to serve God and our community.
As Christians, we believe and practice the Christian faith which is taught in the Bible.
The ministry of our congregation continues to be centered around these roles:
† To build God’s kingdom around us.
† To develop family ministries and to serve to serve the needs of the community.
† To develop human care ministries to serve the needs of the community.
We see ourselves as a mission outpost, touching the lives of people with God’s love through Jesus Christ. Ministries are developed for the people in the west valley community, which includes members of our congregation. We are not here simply to minister unto ourselves. Rather, we are missionaries in an apostolic church sent to the mission field around us.
It is with great joy that we serve God in serving others through the various ministries of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. We welcome you with Christian Love to join our fellowship, praise and worship.
We welcome you to any of our three Sunday morning services. Our liturgical service is at 8:00 am. Our contemporary worship services are at 9:30 & 10:45 am.
Sunday school is held at 9:30 am every Sunday, from September through June. Youth Bible studies are held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month at 9:30 AM.
Adult Bible studies are held on Sundays at 9:30 AM and on Wednesdays at 10:00 AM. The Fall Wednesday Bible Study begins on September 19, 2007. The Sunday Bible Study schedule will be announced at a later time.
We are an active body of believers with activities that include Lutherans for Life, and Lutheran Womens Missionary League, Lutheran Hour Ministries and L.A. Lutherans for Life. We have strong mission zeal and contribute to a number of outside mission activities, including L.A. Lutheran Middle-Senior High School; Concordia University, Irvine; and others.
