OUR REDEEMER LUTHERAN SCHOOL
BRAGGING RIGHTS
Recently our Kindergarten Class took the Terra Nova CTBS Complete Battery Exam. The test results have arrived and we are so very proud of our Kindergarten students. The overall test scores have our students placed at the 98 percentile over all Kindergarten classes that were administered this exam. The overall reading grade level that our Kindergarten students scored is third grade first month! Their overall language score was third grade third month! And the overall math score for our Kindergarten class was third grade first month.
The test results show just how hard they have worked this year. The scores also shows what an excellent education students in our school are receiving. We thank all the parents who have allowed us to be part of their children’s early educational experience.
"Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." (Pr 22:6 NIV)
A home gives a child his or her first instruction and training. Our school shares the responsibility of providing a loving, warm and secure environment where your child receives Christian instruction and training. It also strengthens and supports parents in their efforts.

What We Teach:
Our programs provide a stimulating, exciting, and Christ-centered instructional curriculum for all children. We believe young children need opportunities to learn basic skills, concepts about the world around them and about themselves. The instructional program of the school stresses language, science. mathematics and perceptual motor development; these are some of the basic essentials for effective living. Art, music, physical education and the use of computers are taught to involve children in basic skills which allow them a variety of ways to express their feelings and perceptions. Teachers plan for continual growth in the social, emotional and spiritual development of each child.
Our Extended Day Program expands on and enriches the program of the day school so that children can build upon the skills they have learned in school.
Our Redeemer Lutheran School offers an educational atmosphere that promotes a genuine love of learning. Our students are taught thinking skills and communication skills, creating a strong foundation for future academic success.
We also potty train.
Religious Instruction:
Daily Devotions - Every morning begins with a devotion time. The children are taught Bible stories about Jesus’ love for them, pray and sing praises to God. Extended activities which are relevant to the specific Bible story may be incorporated into the class art time.
Weekly Chapel Services - Our students have the opportunity to attend chapel once a week. During chapel our Pastor, teachers, or special guest visitors present a Bible story or an object lesson. Our chapel offerings are donated to a service project. The children are taught about these projects which include monetary donations given to charitable organizations as well as items such as food to the pantry, or items for the homeless.
