We need helpers for Sunday Coffee Fellowship. Naomi Worlund (May) and Judy Palmquist (August) have signed up to serve but they need helpers. It involves either making coffee, setting up the table and serving after 8 am OR serving after 9:30am, putting eveything away and cleaning up, Can YOU help? Please call Suzanne to volunteer.
In March Susan Barbee and Wanda Moore will serve. The money collected supports our Seminary and Deaconess students.
Thank you!
Thanks to all who brought their gently used Bibles and devotional materials during February. The T-shirts, sox and underwear collected this past month will be distributed by Orphan Grain Train Ministries to needy adults and children along the California-Mexico border areas. Many thanks!
Health Kits
Our local LWML societies will bring Health Kits to our Spring Celebration on April 17th. These will be distributed by Lutheran World Relief. A list of items is in the March Redeemer News. Bring items to church during March and place them in the designated box in the Narthex. Kits will be assembled at our Spring Cleaning Day on March 27.

Other News and Reminders:
Mite Box Update
As you know, our Outreach Center received a $10,000 grant from LWML Mite Box donations. Don't forget to bring your Mite Box the first Sunday of every month.
Flower Chart
There are many Sundays available for you to celebrate or remember special people or occasions. Cost is $40. Make checks payable to Our Redeemer and write "FLOWERS" on the memo line.
Circles We still need help on the Fellowship Circle to provide meals and serve at weddings and other church events. If you can help, contact Suzanne.
Leftovers
Please do not leave leftover food in the refrigerator. It takes up valuable staff, Pastor and staff don't want it and it turns nasty. Leftover cookies, cake, etc. from Coffee Fellowship should be given away or taken home.
Zone 3 - THE VALLEYS
Our church's LWML is part of Zone 3. The mission Statement of Zone 3: Assist each woman in the Locals to affirm and grow in their faith by singing, praising and giving glory to God so she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to others within her church, her community and globally.

Lutherans for Life
Our Redeemer has an active Lutherans for Life chapter. Lutherans For Life (LFL) is a national pro-life, pro-family life ministry whose mission is to "Witness to the Sanctity of Human Life through education based on the Word of God." Lutherans For Life is neither a church body nor a denomination but a voluntary organization of "For Life" individuals.
This local chapter supports the efforts of the Pregnancy Counseling Center in Mission Hills and the Pregnancy Resource Center in North Hills. The next LALFL meeting is listed in the Calendar link.
For more information, see the new Lutherans for Life web site at www.lalutheransforlife.org
