Youth White Water Rafting Trip, July 2008
This is excerpted from Melissa's article in the September 2008 Redeemer News:
Thirty-six of us made the trek to raft down the American River.   We rafted 21 miles down the South Fork of the river paddling through the rapids.  We all made it out safe and sound to tell of our awesome adventure.  On our free days groups went to the Jelly Belly Factory, Old Town Sacramento, Lake Tahoe and Placerville.  Evenings were spent wading and swimming in the river by our campsite and around the campfire. All in all it was a really special trip spent in fellowship and fun.

We need adult volunteers to help with various tasks, such as
  • Provide the meal for a youth group meeting.
  • Plan the games and activities for a youth group meeting.
  • Lead a Bible study for a youth group meeting
  • Drive to an off site youth event.
  • Chaperon and attend an off site youth event.
  • Research and plan a youth event.
For additional information and to volunteer, please contact Melissa at the church office on Tuesdays.
